North West Marquees and Southport TV, the team behind the hugely popular Oktoberfest in Victoria Park in October plus many others events in Southport have carried on their German themed experience this December. Ice Skating Southport will be the epicentre of all things entertainment this Christmas, with ice skating for all the family (over 4 years old) in a heated ‘Bavarian themed’ marquee. Expect German food and beer, themed party nights at the weekend, DJs, singers, loads of seating and tables and much much more, so even if you don’t want to ice skate, come dine and drink and watch the ice skating or one of the many entertainers on stage.

Ice Skating starts at just £9 for under 12s, £12.50 for everyone over 12 and a family of 4 ticket is just £38 (plus Skiddle booking fee). Sessions are for 45 minutes on the ice and 15 minutes to lace up, every hour on the hour and you can ice skate from 5pm-10pm weekdays and 11am-11pm weekends, kids helmets are offered at no charge and there are polar bear skating aids available should you wish to hire one at just £4.

They have some amazing German food available from one of Southport’s best chefs, expect Bratwursts and large pretzels as well as some traditional food as well, we are serving a selection of German beers in 2 pint steins as well as all your usual favourites plus seasonal beverages like Mulled Wine, gingerbread hot chocolate as well as Tea & Coffee and much much more.

Every Friday & Saturday evening (6pm-11pm) the marquee comes alive and turns into a full on party vibe and the best bit is its completely free entry. Some dates for your diary...

Friday 23rd December - The Bavarian Stompers oompah band, a mini Oktoberfest in December, expect German singalongs, musical instruments, plenty of Hofmeister steins being consumed.

Thursday 29th December - Back To The 80s with DECOY (covers band) and Dave Broe (singer) plus DJs, a night of full on 80s party tunes from 6pm-11pm.

The venue is the perfect place for you to start your Xmas night out or if you want to spend the evening with them, so get dropped off at the Pleasureland roundabout and walk into their marquee.
