Grab your Ledorhosen and Dirndls and head to Victoria Park on Saturday 22nd August for an afternoon (or evening) of all things German in a Bavarian decorated marquee. Sing along to the ompah-ompah band and performers whilst drinking high quality German beer out of a 2 pint stein, enjoy German pretzels and bratwursts (large sausages in case you didnt know!) and come and party the German way in one of their 4 hour Oktoberfest sessions!
Theres 2 sessions to choose from 1pm-5pm or 6pm-10pm, tickets are just £15 (+ Skiddle booking fee) and there will be plenty of seating for everyone in the form of Bavarian style long tables and benches!
At the time of writing this (Wednesday 12th October) we are informed that the event has sold 70% of its tickets already so we know where we are going drinking on the 22nd October.
German dress is not essential but adds to the fun and is certainly encouraged the organisers say, we found some suitable fancy-dress ideas, including some next day delivery ones via Amazon in case you decide last minute to go to the event...
